TooManyOptions

i see this as a problem with the Empire.
I want something sown together, something whole.
it is hard for me to see this as a whole. Perhaps the new gereation can, but for me it is fragmented and in need of consolidation.
I have a physical need to consolidate the Empire in a way that functions and makes sense. I feel all these "services" pulling in too many directions but here are some for consideration.
Once decisions get made i want to close down the unused accountand really make them unused!!

• Self-hosted Wordpress - a binding? and ultimately i strongly urge the binding at least to be self-hosted.
• Soundcloud - can upload audio direct from the ipod recorder and be embeded as a player for both WP and LJ
• Tumblr - not certain if this is a blessing or a curse. mainly good for links though its possible to directly record to it too.
• LiveJournal - too much history. can be called for talking to myself.
• Twitter - signal to noise ratio too high perhaps. fucking twitter. maybe delete the surirea account but keep the tot one for biz reasons. ANd yet, i find it hard not to keep it... funny how that is :p
• Facebook - non-sequitor, but considering i am followed by so many more people, why have a twitter when i have (and cannot get rid of) facebook?
• Flickr - multi-purpose personal image sharing. doesn't have the app like tumblr but you can always email a photo to flickr. in some ways this is better anyway. Could also be a substitute for vimeo considering i am guarnteed that the acct will be payed for. Do i _really want to make videos that are longer than 90 seconds??
• Vimeo - bad enough that there are separate personal and business accounts. i can only upload video via browser so no big tragedy. still useful
• Youtube - its out. the mob. the prols.
• this here akiw, this here wiki. is love <3. its fragile, but its love. need to make a mobile skin for it. possibility of other extensions??
