didn't make sense the first time.
the second time i watched it alone, on Melody, in the hospital (see 33.)
then, it was beautiful.

the graphic style is quite appealing. as well as the early 90s network fantasy aspect... someone old skool as me would appreciate such a plot. the girl Lain manages to become ambiguous. almost not existing, strong & wise, young & fragile.
